Work, work.

So we were kind of stagnating at work, having begun a project that we were not in a position to complete (my better judgement was distracted, that’s all).  To break out of that, and also have something to show at GDC (which, when this plan was laid on, we were definitely attending, and now, who knows), we (I) decided to have a push.  Each week in February and the first week in march, we are releasing a game.  Then, for the next two weeks, we’ll release two games a week.  That’s a total of nine games, done and ready for the show.  Ten, including the one we did last summer.  The team responded beautifully, and everyone but me is ahead of schedule.  Unfortunately, I’m still the only programmer, so the fact that I am working 6 days a week and just keeping up is…  Well, actually, it’s rather exhilirating.  I’m having a blast, even if it is shortening my temper a bit.  My boss has been saying ever since we started this thing that what we really need are lots of games that really show off the controller.  Well, I’m providing them, I just hope the rest of the company is ready for it.
